So, no updates for a very long time here but i will start using this blog more frequent from now on. But it will not be that much reviews but instead i will change the direction of the blog, it will be more about my DVD and AUDIO trades and my wantlist. I will also post some interesting news once-in-a-while and pictures of new additions to my collection… we´ll see what direction it will take.

There have now surfaced some video recording of King Diamond’s comeback gig at Sweden Rock Festival this past Saturday. Looks and sounds awesome! I already have a CD recording of the full show, and now i hold my fingers crossed that someone filmed the whole show. Below you can see a couple of clips from the show. And this was the full setlist: The Candle / Welcome Home / Matt Drum Solo / Voodoo / At The Graves / Up From The Grave / Let It Be Done / Dreams / Sleepless Nights / Andy + Mike Solo / Shapes Of Black / Come To The Sabbath(Sweden Rock Festival only Guests: Hank Shermann + Michael Poulsen) / Eye Of The Witch / The Family Ghost / Halloween (Sweden Rock Festival only Guests: Michael Denner + Mikkey Dee) / Black Horsemen
So today it finally saw the light of day, the unreleased track from the bands Vulgar Display Of Power sessions back in 1992, a period where i think Pantera was on top and by far one of the coolest metalbands in the world, i still remember the first time i heard “Walk” from that album… just amazing! This is a album i have listened to countless of times.
This track i am now talking about is offcourse “Piss” wich was released today as a digital single on Itunes, the track will also be featured on the bands 20 anniversary edition of Vulgar Display Of Power album wich will be released May 21.
I really like the song, it would have fitted in just great on the original album so i wonder why they left this track out, and if there are any more unreleased songs hidden somewhere?
Below you can watch the official video for “Piss” but the soundquality is really poor, i don’t know why they havent released it in high audio quality, but maybe it will be out soon now that the single is official released on Itunes, i also included the audio below the video so you can hear the song in good quality.

So it’s finally here, the debut Ep from Unisonic a band features former Helloween members Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen. The first time i heard the song “Unisonic” i was pretty excited and couldn’t wait for this Ep and later on the album to be released, after listening thru this Ep a few times i can’t say that i am as excited anymore. Sure i like what i hear but still.. i don’t know.
The Ep kicks off with the track “Unisonic”, wich i think reminds alot of how Helloween sounded around the Pink Bubbles Go Ape era, Kiske‘s vocals sound as good as ever before and Kai, well Kai knows how to handle a guitar and write power metal songs, enough said. This track is a really good up beat power metal track and i think its a good choice to choose this track to promote the album as it will more or less get all old Helloween fans interested in the band, it sure as hell worked on me.
After this we get the “My sanctuary” a basic radio rock track wich is pretty dull and more or less just fades away into the background, but it gets better, the demo version of “Souls alive” is next, a track wich is my favourite on this Ep, a track wich reminds of a mixture of Pink Bubbles Go Ape and early Avantasia stuff, hopefully there will be more tracks like this on the album, and last but not least we get a live version of Helloween‘s classic “I want out” recorded at the Loud Park Festival in 2011.
You can listen to the Ep for free on Spotify here.
