Just updated my DVD Trades page with a few of the shows i have, more will come soon. Added Ghost / Ghost BC, Airbourne, Kiss, D.A.D and Celtic Frost shows.
I have now updated my wantlist with additional stuff i look for with Ghost, Metallica, Wasp, Rolling Stones, Watain, Ebba Grön, Hanoi Rocks to name a few, both records vinyls and tourposters, tourbook and memorbilia.
So, no updates for a very long time here but i will start using this blog more frequent from now on. But it will not be that much reviews but instead i will change the direction of the blog, it will be more about my DVD and AUDIO trades and my wantlist. I will also post some interesting news once-in-a-while and pictures of new additions to my collection… we´ll see what direction it will take.
Here is a really nice boxset celebrating 13 years of Watain, the boxset wich supposedly was going to be released April 25 just arrived a couple of days ago to my surprise, the regular DVD edition will be out on May 7. The boxset is a really nice one containing all kinds of stuff, first off the concert DVD, more about that one later, the complete 13 years celebration show on two Cd’s and also on two Lp’s, a nice book with pictures from the bands career, four postcards and also a handsigned (by all five members) certificate of authenticy. The boxset is limited to only 1000 copies, and i got copy number 37.
The DVD is both liveclips from the 13 years anniversary show in Stockholm mixed with interviews with singer Erik, i think that these kinds of DVD’s are, well, let say that about the interviews yes they are fun to watch the first couple of times but after that you wish they were put as extras instead of integrated with the live clips. I personally would have preferred a full on concert DVD. The disc itself is really good, nice filmed and you really get that live feeling, and to be able to watch it in my hometheatre on a 112″ screen in a really darkened room gives more of a feeling of being there than to watch it on a Tv in the livingroom. The only negative i think is the sound, you have option between 2.0 (stereo) and 5.1, but it is a bit low mixed so i had to turn up the reciever alot to get a satisfying volume and i would also liked to have a bit more compact sound.
Overall this is a really nice boxset and a must for any Watain fan out there!
Death’s cold dark, Malfeitor, Storm of the antichrist, Four thrones, Devil’s blood, Reaping death, Lawless darkness, Total funeral, Stellavore, On horns impaled, A fine day to die, Waters of ain.
The DVD will be released worldwide on May 7. There will also be a limited edition boxset, limited to only 1000 copies. The box, wich you can see pictured on the left, will include; the DVD, A handsigned sheet signed by all members, Set of 4 postcards, 2 Audio CDs including the complete 13 years concert, 2 Audio LPs including the complete 13 years concert and a exclusive photobook containing flyers and photos from the past 13 years and offcourse the concert DVD.

I don’t know how much people out there know about Spiders, but here in Sweden they are just starting to make a name of themselves with touring and releasing high quality singles/ep’s. This is the bands latest effort and the first pressing wich you can see here was pressed on black vinyl and included a live Dvd. This version was limited to 75 copies. The rest of the versions was released without Dvd and now there is a second print out on green vinyl. Grab em while you can!
So, what about the music then?
Well, if you are into retro 70’s style rock n roll you are in for a treat. Spiders startet with member from Graveyard and Witchcraft so they know what they are doing, and if you are into those bands you won’t be dissapointed when you hear Spiders.
On the A side you find a new track called “Fraction” wich is a straight-on rock n roll classic to be, nothing more to say about it really, if you like rock n roll you will love it, check the video below and find out for yourself. And on the B side you find a coverversion of the Alice Cooper song “Under my wheels”, this is pretty okey, the band play it in their live set and i think its more fun there than on the record, but still a good coverversion.
Side A: Fraction
Side B: Under my wheels
