I have now updated my wantlist with additional stuff i look for with Ghost, Metallica, Wasp, Rolling Stones, Watain, Ebba Grön, Hanoi Rocks to name a few, both records vinyls and tourposters, tourbook and memorbilia.
So, no updates for a very long time here but i will start using this blog more frequent from now on. But it will not be that much reviews but instead i will change the direction of the blog, it will be more about my DVD and AUDIO trades and my wantlist. I will also post some interesting news once-in-a-while and pictures of new additions to my collection… we´ll see what direction it will take.
There have been a bit of a fuzz about the band Goat here in Sweden on various forums and such. The band, based in Gothenburg Sweden, playes a mix of psychedelic rock, african tribe music and voodoo rituals. It’s very hard to describe the bands music, but from what i have heard i really like it, some songs anyway, well, some of the songs i have heard are brilliant while other i didnt like so much.
The band released their album World Music not too long ago and is available on both Cd and Vinyl. Check out a live clip here below, i think it sound really interesting and i might just grab a vinyl for myself. What do you think?
Here is the brand new musicvideo for the titletrack of Tiamat‘s upcoming album The Scarred People.
… yes, that’s the opening line from Eric Singer in the new video commercial for the KISS book Monster, a huge photobook (70 cm * 100 cm) that will be released soon. I was pretty interested in the book up until i saw the price of it, first i thought it was a bad joke, the book wich will be limited to only 1000 copies and will come with a variation of flags to choose from on the front cover (Usa, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Norway, England, Brazil, Russia and also a blank cover with no flag on it) will go on sale for $4299 (thats about 30,000 SEK) for a photobook!
Sure the book will be released in a total of only 1000 copies in total and each copy will be handsigned by the members of the band (Gene, Paul, Eric, Tommy) and yes it’s huge as hell… but still! It can never be worth the money, never! But on the bright side, it’s free shipping! Atleast that’s something, right?
As much of a KISS fan i am, and as no matter how cool it would look in my “vinyl room” the price is beyond ridiculous i think, wich is a shame because the book would be really nice to have. Hopefully they will release a smaller and more price-friendly version of the book in the future, one can only hope. Until then i will spend my money on the upcoming Monster album and the European tour next year.

Mares Of Thrace is a duo from Calgary who play some sort of Noise/Sludge/Doom Metal, atleast that is what it says in their bio, i don’t really know what to call their music so i go with that.
Just found out about this band through an interview in a Swedish metal-magazine and had to check em out since they sounded good on paper! I have checked a few songs on YouTube and really like what i hear.
Mares Of Thrace have been active since 2009 and have released two albums, the first one was self-financed and the second one, The Pilgrimage, wich was just released, is released on the label Sonic Unyon Metal. and have gotten good reviews throughout the metal press.
Here is my final Black Uniforms post, here are some memorbilia with the band, the Faces Of Death promo poster to promote the album i think it was also used as tourposter. The other poster is a really fun one, it’s Cliff doing a commercial about returning used batteries, other than that there is the interview cut-out from Maximum Rock N Roll, a A4 pressrelease for the Faces Of Death Lp some Demo covers and photos and also a handwritten letter from vocalist Fjalle.
There have now surfaced some video recording of King Diamond’s comeback gig at Sweden Rock Festival this past Saturday. Looks and sounds awesome! I already have a CD recording of the full show, and now i hold my fingers crossed that someone filmed the whole show. Below you can see a couple of clips from the show. And this was the full setlist: The Candle / Welcome Home / Matt Drum Solo / Voodoo / At The Graves / Up From The Grave / Let It Be Done / Dreams / Sleepless Nights / Andy + Mike Solo / Shapes Of Black / Come To The Sabbath(Sweden Rock Festival only Guests: Hank Shermann + Michael Poulsen) / Eye Of The Witch / The Family Ghost / Halloween (Sweden Rock Festival only Guests: Michael Denner + Mikkey Dee) / Black Horsemen
I think that most people that visit this blog are like me crazy about records, but how do you storage your collection? I have just redone my room where i have my collection. I will show you a couple of pictures below, i don’t have any before pictures, but before i had vinyls on one side of the room and cd’s on the other, but i decided to put em both on one side and on the other side i put a chair and so, so i would use that as a space where i could read books and sit with the laptop. When i put the CD’s on the wall i couldnt include em all i had to storage a bunch of em in the closet, but i don’t mind that, as long as the vinyls are on display, because we all know that it is the vinyls that matters =)
Here is a photo of the side of the wall with my records, my collection includes about 2600 records so i just couldnt include them all and make it look stylish and good, so as i said before, some of the CD’s have storage elswhere/closet and basement.
Here is the opposite side of the room, a space where i can sit and read and just relax. I also have been thinking about including a sound system like SONOS in this room that i can use while listening to Spotify.
So how do YOU storage your collection?
