I have now updated my wantlist with additional stuff i look for with Ghost, Metallica, Wasp, Rolling Stones, Watain, Ebba Grön, Hanoi Rocks to name a few, both records vinyls and tourposters, tourbook and memorbilia.
Sweden’s sleaze metal band Sister Sin are headed to the studio to record a followup to the 2010 album “True sound of the underground”.
“How’s this for news: We’re gonna start recording our 3rd full lenght album in late February! Chris Snyder will produce this time around we will track everything in Standstraight Studios. Be prepared for the heaviest SS album to date! A late May release is expected”.
Since i guess most of you might not have heard of Sister Sin i included a video, check it out, really good stuff.
One of my favourite thrash metal bands,Kreator, are now rehersing for the recordings of the new album wich they will begin recording in Fascination Street Studio in Örebro, Sweden. The band will begin recording in January and i can’t wait for this album to be released, Kreator’s two past releases have been beyond phenomenal!
I personally think that Kreator is the ONLY of the early, classic thrash metal bands that still release high quality stuff. And i wonder how the album will turn out. In a interview Mille (vocals) have said this about the album demos “There’s some classical, a lot of traditional metal, and, of course, a huge dose of thrash metal influences in the new stuff.”
That sound good to me!
First of all, welcome to my new blog. I am a recordcollector from Sweden. I mostly collect metal and punkrock records from 70’s and 80’s and my main interest is vinyl. Offcourse i also buy alot of new music, here i will write about records in my collection, concerts i go to and overall thoughts about music and so on.
This is the second time a write a blog, the first one i had only in swedish and was active for about a couple of months so let hope i find it more fulfilling this time. Reason i write in english this time is to reach out to more people and hopefully get in contact with more similar people out there to trade music with.
