Title: Mother Of Mercy
Label: Decibel / High Roller Records
I have said it before about flexidiscs, they are cool but soundqualitywise they pretty much suck compared to a thick 7″-single… but who the fuck cares, really, as long as we get a previously unreleased track with Sweden’s In Solitude, okey it’s not an original tune but a cover of Samhain‘s “Mother Of Mercy”, and what a great cover then! The single is in a nice red color wich you can see on the photo along with the magazine it was included in. I don’t have much to say other than i think that you should lay your hands on this one, in fact… i think you should lay your hands on anything In Solitude since they are one of the better bands that have emerged in the last years.
The single is a part of Decibel Magazine flexi series wich are free for people who subscribe to the magazine, each number have a flexi 7″ wich unique track with different bands. In the latest issue, wich is May 2012 #91, you get this amazing flexi including In Solitude. I think that this is a great treat for the subscribers of the magazine, to get a collectors item, here in Sweden the Sweden Rock Magazine does the same thing, but with Cd-singles, once in a while they include a free exclusive cd-single with a band along with the magazine… but only for us who subscribe!
You can listen to the track on the Decibel Magazine’s Soundcloud page here.
