The fun thing about collecting records is when you pick up a record and you get the feeling of what the fuck did you think when you bought this one!? I mean come on… was my taste THAT terrible back then? Well, i guess not since it’s not that many records in my collection (a collection wich today includes approx 2600 records) i would say straight out is a crappy record, i guess i wouldn’t about this one either if it havent been for the fact that i picked it out and listened to it again for the first time since… i don’t know, 2001 perhaps?
The thing is it’s not only that i bought this one, i also have it signed by the band, but i also have the bands both cassette demos that was released prior to this single and also their debut album wich was released one year after the single. But in my defence i can say that the album sound alot better than this single, the single is just pure crap. Sure, some songs have nice parts in them but all in all they are perfromed horrible, the band sound better on the album but still it’s nothing i would have bought today.
Hin Onde wich was from Finland, the band have broke up now, played some kind of pagan melodic folk black metal, a genre wich i liked alot at the time so i guess thats why i bought the bands releases. The single is released on white/black splatter vinyl and it looks really good. I have no idea on how many copies was released but i still see this single every now and than dirt cheap on different auction sites so i guess that if you by any chance would like to hear it you can pick it up at simply no cost at all. I will publish two versions of the same song for you to listen to, the first one (wich sounds horrid) is from the single, the second one (wich sound decent) is from the debut album. Now i will put this single away, maybe i pick it up and listen to it yet again in a decade or two, most likely not!
