So here it is, the first taste of the upcoming Electric Wizard album, i don’t know if there have been any release date set for the album yet, but as far as i know this is the first single in a series of singles to come before the album is released. On “Legalise drugs and murder” the band continue in the same typ of doom they have been known for and i don’t think any Electric Wizard fan will be disappointed after listening to this tune.
The B side is a really interesting track i think, it’s an instrumental song called “Murder and madness” wich sound alot like something that the italian prog-rock band Goblin could have done, and since i love their work i was pleasantly suprised when i heard it, it’s really creepy.
I really like the coverart also, wich is a rip-off of the Black Sabbath album Master Of Reality if someone didn’t know that, just brilliant! The single was first released on clear vinyl in 800 copes and sold exclusively on the bands show at The Forum in London. The second run was pressed on 800 copies purple vinyl and a regular not-limited edition on black vinyl.
