Title: Riot In Everyone
Label: Rabid Redneck
When Crashdiet released their debut album “Rest in Sleaze” back in 2005 the musicscene here in Sweden exploded with hair metal bands who wanted to be the next big thing, the labels signed all kinds of shit bands and the scene got boring. Let’s face it, none of those band had what Crashdiet had, first off they had a very charismatic vocalist in Dave Lepard (R.I.P) along with great songs and melodies. The only other interesting bands that came out of this wave were Sister Sin, they are still going strong but they play more old school heavy metal, and also Vains of Jenna, really good stuff worth checking out.
This single was released prior to the debut album on the small label Rabid Redneck Records. I don’t know how many copies were made but i would guess around 1000 copies or something. The vinyl is really thick and well sounding, on the A side you have “Riot in everyone” wich i think is a great youth anthem of it’s time, just like “Rock n roll all night” was to KISS and “Shout at the devil” to Motley Crue. This is one of those songs you never grow tired off listening to. On the B-side you have the song “Out of line” also a very good Crashdiet tune, and i highly recomend you to check out the bands debut album and the demos released prior to that, it’s really good.
I got my copy signed by the whole band in silversharpie when it was released, wich you can see in the picture, it’s a little hard to get a good photo off it cause the flash of the camera. This is one single i hold very dear. Crashdiet have continued after the death of singer Dave Lepard but even though they still release good stuff, it’s just not the same.
Side A: Riot in everyone
Side B: Out of line
